Public Transit from Manhattan

TRAIN: Tarrytown (MetroNorth Express train takes approx. 45 minutes). From the train station at Tarrytown it is a short ride across the bridge to Nyack.

Catch the H07 Bus at right at the Tarrytown train station to Downtown Nyack.

  • Download the MTA TrainTime App for real time schedules and to purchase fares on your phone. Take the Hudson Line. Trains run from Grand Central Station to Tarrytown about every 20 minutes or so

  • Download the Hudson Link Go Mobile for bus schedules and fares from Tarrytown Train Station to Downtown Nyack. Take the H07 Bus from the Tarrytown station to the Downtown Nyack stop. Busses run approximately every 20 minutes.


BUS: Coach USA provides daily bus service from the Port Authority Bus Terminal and the George Washington Bridge Bus Station to Nyack


From George Washington Bridge

Take the Palisades Parkway North to Exit 9E (NY State Thruway, White Plains). Take Exit 11 (Route 59, Nyack). At end of ramp there will be a traffic light. Make left on to Route 59 East. This will become Main Street.

From Gov. Mario M. Cuomo Bridge

Take Exit 10* (first exit off bridge), and merge onto Route 9W, north-bound. Make right on to Route 59 East. This will become Main Street. *The interchange at Exit 10 is currently under construction, as new bridge is completed. Please drive carefully and follow signage.

From The Garden State Parkway

Follow GSP and take exit for NY Thruway (87). Take Exit 11 (Route 59, Nyack). At end of ramp there will be a traffic light. Make left on to Route 59 East. This will become Main Street.

From The North

Parking

Metered parking is available on the street and in municipal parking lots. Meters are in effect Monday through Saturday 10:00am-7:00pm. Parking is free on Sundays throughout the village.

The Village of Nyack parking lots provide a 9-hour maximum time at .75¢ an hour. You can can park using the app all day from 10 Am to 7 pm, with an option to extend after 7pm if needed.

ParkMobile is Nyack’s mobile app for parking. Payment by coin or card is also accepted at the munimeters and single space meters.
